This is the Mission Office. It is a very nice building.
One of Ben's duties is giving out "soutien" to each of the missionaries (their monthly living expenses). Each missionary gets 70,000 franks. Do the math. That is not much...food is expensive here. It looks like a lot. It takes 500 franks to equal .50, so the bag is full and heavy and feels a little funny driving down the road with a bag-o-money! Good thing the bank is guarded!!
